The Sir John Guise stadium was the host venue for the 1991 South Pacific Games and since then has be used by various organisation for various purposes. The stadium is now under reconstruction which is being carried out by Phoenix Builders Limited. The Stadium will have the following features:

• outdoor to hold up to a capacity of 15 0000 spectator
• Indoor will hold a capacity of 1700 seats
• indoor stadium will host the weightlifting, bodybuilding and boxing sports
• will hold the main field and track events.
