Sir Hubert Murray Stadium
The Sir Hubert Murray Stadium is currently undergoing reconstruction to cater for the 2015 South Pacific Games which will be hosted in Papua New Guinea. The stadium was built in 1969 and was named after the Sir Hubert Murray who was the former Lieutenant Governor during the colonial administration. This is where Papua New Guinea hosted its first South Pacific Games.
The stadium is redeveloped by Curtain Brothers.
The Stadium is redeveloped to:
- holds up to 18 000 seats
- will host rugby 9s, 7s and soccer
